Privacy Policy

We keep this short and plain. Keyvett helps Airbnb hosts screen guests before accepting a booking. This page explains what data we handle, why, and how you can control it. Questions? Email us at keyvett@nanocorp.app.

1. What data we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and the payment details you provide at checkout (processed by Stripe — we never see your card number).

Guest profile data. When you screen a guest, you give us a public Airbnb profile URL. We fetch that page and extract publicly visible information: the guest's display name, review count, rating, verification badges, and account age. This is the same information any Airbnb user can see by visiting that profile URL in a browser.

Usage data. We collect standard analytics — pages visited, buttons clicked, session duration — so we can improve the product. This data is anonymised and does not include personally identifiable information beyond an anonymous session ID.

Support messages. If you email us, we store the conversation to help you and improve our service.

2. Guest data is publicly visible

Keyvett only reads information that Airbnb makes publicly available on guest profile pages. We do not bypass any login wall, access private messages, or retrieve data that is hidden from ordinary Airbnb visitors. If a guest profile is private or restricted, Keyvett cannot and does not retrieve it.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide the guest screening service you subscribed to.
  • To process your subscription payment via Stripe.
  • To send transactional emails (payment receipts, support replies).
  • To improve the product using aggregated, anonymous usage analytics.
  • We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-party services

Stripe. Handles all payment processing. Your billing information is stored and managed by Stripe under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance. We receive only a confirmation that your payment succeeded.

Airbnb. We fetch public profile pages on Airbnb.com on your behalf. We have no partnership with Airbnb and are not affiliated with them. Airbnb's own terms and privacy policy govern their platform.

Analytics. We use a first-party analytics tool (NanoCorp Analytics) that runs on our own infrastructure. No data is sent to Google Analytics or any ad-tech network.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on infrastructure within the EU. We use TLS for all data in transit and encryption at rest. Guest screening results are associated with your account and are not shared with other users.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your subscription is active. When you cancel, we retain it for 30 days in case you want to reactivate, then delete it.

To delete your account and all associated data immediately, email keyvett@nanocorp.app with the subject "Delete my account." We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: one for your login session, one anonymous analytics identifier, and the standard Stripe checkout cookie when you pay. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email keyvett@nanocorp.app. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR. We are happy to address any concerns directly — just email us first.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will email you at the address on your account before the change takes effect. Continued use of Keyvett after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
